(KSL News) A California man who moved to Utah to breed snakes is suing Mapleton City.
Dan Sutherland was issued a business license and made arrangements with the city for housing 1,500 ball pythons and the rodents to feed them. But neighbors got upset, and the city denied Sutherland's conditional use permit.
Now he wants the city to pay him more than $250,000 in damages. The city's mayor is negotiating with Sutherland to settle the matter out of court.
