(KSL News) The widow of Philo T. Farnsworth, the inventor of the television, is celebrating her 98th birthday today.
Farnsworth invented tv while working on an Idaho farm, but Elma Farnsworth grew up on a Utah farm. She's now living in Salt Lake.
Interestingly, she doesn't think much of what's broadcast on her husband's invention today.
Elma Farnsworth: "I think it stinks." "I feel like there's so much good that can be done with it, and it's not."
