Utah Soldier Seriously Injured in Iraq

(KSL News) A Utah soldier has been seriously injured in Iraq.

Army Sgt. Tim Bennet Jr. of Sandy was severely burned three nights ago when the Humvee he was riding in hit an explosive device.

Bennett was in a medically-induced coma and flown to Texas where he's being treated.

His wife and three children live in Georgia, where he was stationed before deploying for his second tour of duty in Iraq.
