SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Army officials say the Utah-based I-Corps Field Artillery is scheduled to arrive on U.S. soil today after a year-long tour of duty in Afghanistan.

The 130-member unit will spend several days at Camp Shelby, Mississippi, before returning to Utah. They're expected to return home toward the end of this week.

The National Guard unit was stationed throughout Afghanistan. Many of its members served as advisers to Afghan police and military forces.
