RIVERSIDE, Calif., Feb 21, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- A former stripper and soft-corn porn actress in California has founded JC's Girls, Girls, Girls to reach out to people in the adult entertainment industry.

The group's Web site looks like many others, with a group photo showing Heather Veitch and two colleagues in the ministry looking inviting. But its purpose is "to share God's message of hope and forgiveness by reaching out in a non-judgmental way to those who are in the sex industry."

Veitch said that her looks, including a head of blond hair, are helpful because workers in the adult industry tend to judge others on their appearance.

"People criticize me for having big hair and big makeup," she told the Press-Enterprise of Riverside, Calif. "I understand the culture of these girls. They respect that."

JC's Girls show up at adult industry conventions and hand out Bibles wrapped in "Holy Hottie" T-shirts. They go to strip clubs and pay for lap dances to spend time talking to the women who work there.

Veitch is a wife, mother and part-time hairdresser. But she remembers the fear that she felt while she was in the industry and hopes to share the joy that she feels now.
