RIVERTON, Utah (AP) -- A five-year-old boy is recovering in the hospital this morning after a sledding accident.
It happened yesterday on the boy's birthday. The boy's parents were celebrating at a common sledding area at the RiverBend Golf Course.
Authorities say the five-year-old fell off his sled and hit one of the distance markers on the driving range.
The crash resulted in the child receiving a head injury.
Authorities say the boy was flown to Primary Children's Medical Center, where he's in serious but stable condition.
