Police say the 33 year old man was shot in the chest once in his home. He is in serious condition at LDS hospital, under an alias, so only police can have access to him. They want to be the first to speak with him once his ventilator is removed.

KSL spoke with a neighbor of the victim's family. The woman says she was close to the victim's wife. She says couple was a happy one, and what happened last night may have been the result of a bad argument.

Luisa Velazquez says she didn't know why there was so much commotion. She looked out the window and saw police cars lining the road and detectives taking pictures of her friend's bedroom. She says she got an answer when the victim's mother in law came running over to her house- crying and upset. She told Velazquez her daughter and son-in-law got into a fight, and she was concerned. With her: The couple's six year old daughter.

Luisa Velazquez, Friend of Victim's Family: "When her mom came in with one of her little daughters, she was screaming, 'My daddy, my daddy, my daddy!"

Neighbors say the couple's four children- ages 6 and younger- are staying with other family members. We did see some people leaving the house where the shooting occurred, but they quickly jumped into their cars and drove away.
