SALT LAKE CITY — Two men have been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a man found lying on the platform of a TRAX station.
Robert Earl Wallace, 45, and Moses Geng, 33, were arrested for investigation of aggravated murder Thursday night and Friday morning and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail. The men are accused in connection with the fatal stabbing of Emett Schad, 27, early on the morning of July 7.
Both were found at Pioneer Park Thursday night and arrested.
Wallace gave a knife to Moses Geng in Pioneer Park, then walked with him four blocks to find Schad, according to booking documents. They found him at the UTA TRAX station.
"Robert told investigators that Moses stabbed the victim," a jail report states.
Investigators were able to identify Geng based on witnesses and surveillance video from the scene.
