A family member of the suspect found those video clips just yesterday on the laptop computer and notified police. Investigators seized the computer, found the images, and took Jackson into custody for questioning. After being questioned by detectives, 63-year old Robert B. Jackson was arrested by Provo Police last night.

Jackson, who is a longtime employee of BYU in the business school, is accused of using a hidden camera and capturing the images of a teenage girl undressing. Court documents show the images were recorded without the victim's knowledge, in a private residence.

Police make it clear it did not occur on the BYU campus. From that evidence, Jackson was arrested on charges of voyeurism and sexual exploitation of a minor, which is a second degree felony.

Capt. Rick Healey, Provo Police Dept. "The information that we have right now is that there was a hidden camera, and he participated in setting that camera up and then recording the events, and then keeping them on file on his laptop computer."

Jackson is a professor in the Marriott School of Management at BYU and works in the Information Systems department. He holds two master's degrees as well as a doctorate degree from BYU.

BYU officials say they are aware of Jackson's arrest and call it, "something of grave concern."

They also say that late this afternoon, Jackson resigned from the university.

Jackson posted $7500 in bail and was released from the Utah County Jail this afternoon. He is scheduled to appear in court next Friday.
