(KSL News) As news of the latest tragedy at the Crandall Canyon mine spreads, more and more people are stepping in to offer support.
Jeff Manley, CEO of Castleview Hospital in Price, said, "We've already had a great community response. We've had local agencies calling to see if we need babysitters. So we've had some tremendous response already."
Officials at the hospital say all their doctors came in to help when they heard about the tragedy last night. They've also received additional support from nearby cities.
Price Mayor Joe Piccolo offered his words of support last night. "Pray earnestly from our hearts for those who need comfort in their time of need. Pray that we find those who are trapped and that that release comes quickly."
He says the community shares in each other's pain, joy and sorrows.
