(KSL News) Houses are not selling in the Wasatch Front.

Experts say it's a mix of higher interest rates, tighter lending standards, and investors trying to cash in at the same time.

Right now there is a more than a six-month supply of existing homes for sale and a more than 18-month supply of higher-priced homes.

Overall though, home prices along the Wasatch Front in the second quarter were up from last year.

Economic forecasters predict some home prices will stay steady while others drop by the end of this year.
