(KSL News) The back-to-school assembly at Huntington's Canyon View Junior High School will be a little different this year. For more than a week, the families of six trapped miners have stayed at the school, waiting for information about their loved ones.
The school's principal tells the Deseret Morning News the traditionally peppy assembly will also remember the tragedy at the mine.
Teachers are now preparing their classrooms, and officials are looking for a new place for the families.
