WANSHIP, Summit County -- A man working in his yard was attacked by a cougar Saturday.
The man was working in his driveway when he heard a growl close by. He turned around to see a cougar charging toward him.
He was able to kick the cougar in the face, but not before it sunk its claws into the man's legs.
The Division of Wildlife Resources is now searching for the cougar and will likely put it down once it is found. The attack was close to several homes and popular campgrounds in the area.
