SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Utah students scored just above the national average on the ACT college entrance exam.
Utah's class of 2007 had a composite score of 21-point-7. That's the same score from a year ago and it's a half-point higher than the national average of 21-point-2. Utah students tested best in the reading category with an average of 22-point-5.
The ACT released the national scoring averages today. Massachussetts had the highest composite average of 23.2.
