(KSL News) There's still a few more weeks of summer, and then comes fall, but some people are already turning their sights toward the winter ski season.

Ski Utah officials will be handing out free snow cones today to mark the official 90-day countdown to the ski season.

Last year Brighton Ski Resort opened the earliest, November 15.

The tasty treats will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the southeast corner of the Salt Palace.
