(KSL News) Karl Rove helped President Bush become governor of Texas and win two presidential elections. He credits his time in Utah with teaching him basic political strategy.
Rove served as student body president at Olympus High School and went to the University of Utah.
He tells the Deseret Morning News his experiences there taught him no matter where you are on the political spectrum, you can love your country.
Rove recently announced plans to leave his post as President Bush's chief political strategist.
