SPANISH FORK -- Three local teenage boys have put out a pretty impressive online video featuring Ping-Pong tricks, which could be YouTube's next biggest hit.
The videos are just for fun, but are certainly something worth seeing, as three teenage boys show their mad skills with a little luck thrown into the mix.
Dallin and Brandon Congdon, with their neighbor Ian Scott, made the videos as a way to impress viewers with their creative skills. It's just three guys doing their thing, with a cellphone camera rolling.
"People have said, ‘Wow, that looks like you're pretty good at that,' " said Dallin Congdon, who produced the Ping-Pong video tricks.
The Congdon's basement doubles as their practice zone; a place they have spent quite a bit of time in the last few months.
"There was a day they spent the entire day working on it," said mother Melissa Congdon.
The teenager's parents didn't know what they were up to at first, but learned when they saw the finished product.
"Once they start, they're going hours and hours and hours and not even coming up much," Melissa Congdon said. "We have to go down there and make sure they are not playing Xbox."
Although the tricks look effortlessly easy on the videos, the three teenagers admitted it took them a long time to perform some of the tricks. But they quickly pointed out that each one of the tricks is the real deal.
"The hardest one was when (Brandon) stuck his hand -- his arm was moving," said Ian Scott. "That was probably the hardest one."
So, from a drop, double bounce, to a casual over the shoulder swish, these teenagers put together one impressive, off the wall idea.
