(KSL News) Seat belts helped a family survive a major rollover on the freeway.

Troopers say a car was traveling on the west-side belt of I-215 at 3100 South when another car cut it off, causing it to lose control.

The car slammed into the barrier wall, bounced off, rolled several times back across the freeway and hit the other barrier.

Two young children inside were virtually unscathed. The parents suffered minor injuries.

Troopers credit the seat belts for saving their lives.
