(KSL News) A group of doctors joined forces to help one of the victims of a fire at a Washington Terrace apartment building last May.
The victim is one of the emergency room admitting clerks at the Davis Medical Center in Layton. She lost everything in the fire. So, the physicians who work in the emergency room got together and gave her a gift card to help her get back on her feet.
Susan Henderson, who also works in the ER, took note of the whole thing and wanted to see her co-workers honored with a High 5.
"It just shows how great they are. They're just a great bunch of people we have working here," Susan said.
Dr. Shay Holley said, "We're a team here, and we couldn't do what we do here without our team."
As a thank you, the doctors received a gift basket from the Thanksgiving Point Emporium.
