Each year since 1976, KSL has unabashedly and enthusiastically solicited your financial support for a notable and worthy cause. Gladly, we do it again this year.
Yes, it's the 30th anniversary of the KSL Radiothon for the benefit of children in need of charity care at Primary Children's Medical Center.
As we've said before, few things tug at the heartstrings more than the sight of an ill child struggling through adversity to overcome challenges not quite understood. And few experiences bring greater joy than the miracle of healing and seeing a child regain health and vigor.
Such miracles occur regularly at Primary Children's Medical Center.
Gratefully, in this era of astronomical medical costs, Primary Children's remains committed to treating all children regardless of the ability to pay. Fund raising efforts such as KSL's annual Radiothon make it possible for the hospital to honor its altruistic commitment.
So once again, as we have for three decades, we earnestly implore you to tune in to the Radiothon today and tomorrow on KSL NewsRadio 102.7 FM and 1160 AM. Let the poignancy of the stories you hear touch your hearts. If inclined, call in with a pledge and experience the satisfaction of knowing you're helping a child.
