(KSL News) A cement truck lost its load today, delaying morning traffic.
Utah Highway Patrol says the truck was carrying a full load on Interstate 80 westbound and merging onto State Road 201. For some reason the driver made an abrupt turn, hit the center median and rolled to rest on the westbound lanes.
The truck's full load of cement spilled onto the road. Traffic was delayed for hours while the road was cleaned up.
The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries but will be OK.
