Man Shot and Left for Dead in Ogden

Ashley Hayes ReportingPolice say a man was shot and left for dead at an Ogden industrial park. He was found early this morning and rushed to the hospital.

An Iomega security officer found the man. The man had been shot several times. The victim is a 28-year-old man. He underwent emergency surgery at McKay-Dee hospital and is in recovery this afternoon.

Lt. Scott Sangberg of the Ogden Police Department says, "Shot him someplace else and dumped him on Commerce Way, hoping that he'd either get found or die."

Police say they won't be able to ask him questions before tomorrow. They are unsure of the circumstances involved with the shooting. Investigators don't know whether it's drug or gang related, but mentioned it may have something to do with the multiple shooting and double murder from over the weekend.
