(KSL News) Fire left some minor damage in a strip mall Sunday afternoon.
It happened near 4100 South and 1700 West.
Firefighters saw smoke coming from the rear of one of the stores. When they got inside, the automatic sprinklers were on and had extinguished the fire. Had they not turned on, the fire could have spread to some of the other businesses in the same building.
The cause of the fire is thought to be some sort of electrical malfunction.
