Jacksonville tops weekly AFL Power Rankings; Blaze No. 8

2.Arizona Rattlers (9-2): Quarterback Dick Davila threw for eight touchdowns last week in a convincing win over Cleveland. The Rattlers have never lost in Utah and lead the Blaze in the division standings by three and a half games. This week: at Utah Blaze, June 4, 7 p.m.

3.Chicago Rush (8-3): Quarterback Russ Michna scored the game-winning touchdown with no time left to lead the Rush to the victory. Chicago looks to extend its winning streak to four at it travels to divisional foe KC this week. This week: at Kansas City Command, June 4, noon

4.Orlando Predators (7-3): Defensive back Rayshaun Kizer recorded two picks last week to bring his season total to 10 as Orlando tallied an ugly win to extend its winning streak to three games. This week: at Iowa Barnstormers, June 4, 6:05 p.m.

5**.Pittsburgh Power (6-4): Pittsburgh posted its third victory in a row by stopping Dallas’ two-point conversion attempt. First place in the division is on the line this week. This week:** Cleveland Gladiators, June 4, 5:30 p.m.

6**.Georgia Force (6-5): Despite being last in rushing offense, the Force posted a big win last week behind the play of quarterback and former Ute Brett Elliott. A win this week will put Georgia in prime position to make a strong playoff run in the league’s toughest division. This week:** Tampa Bay Storm, June 4, 5:35 p.m.

7**.Cleveland Gladiators (6-4): After a disappointing loss to Arizona, the Gladiators travel to Pittsburgh for a battle for first place in the East Division. This week**: at Pittsburgh Power, June 4, 5:30 p.m.

8**.Utah Blaze (5-5): Utah is looking to erase the memories of last week’s fourth-quarter collapse by facing off against its division-leading rival this week. The league’s top two offenses square off this week in SLC, where the Blaze are 4-1. This week**: Arizona Rattlers, June 4, 7 p.m.

9**.Dallas Vigilantes (6-5): Quarterback Dan Raudabaugh threw for 433 yards and 10 touchdowns last week and was named AFL Offensive Player of the Week. However, it wasn’t enough as Dallas lost its third game in a row. Anthony Jones caught four touchdowns and amassed 221 receiving yards in the loss. This week**: San Jose SaberCats, June 4, 6:30 p.m.

10**.Kansas City Command (4-7): Kicker Brian Umstead drilled a last-second field goal last week to claim victory for KC. Kansas City has a big challenge this week hosting the division-leading Rush. This week**: Chicago Rush, June 4, noon

11**.San Jose SaberCats (5-6): Receiver Mervin Brookins had a great performance last week with three touchdowns and 136 yards receiving, but the SaberCats dropped their fourth in a row. They’ll be in Dallas this week to face the equally struggling Vigilantes. This week:** at Dallas Vigilantes, June 4, 6:30 p.m.

12**.Tampa Bay Storm (4-6): Coming off a bye week, Tampa looking to get a divisional win and extend its streak to three. League sack leader Cliff Dukes will be anchoring the defense as he tries to lead them to victory. This week:** at Georgia Force, June 4, 5:35 p.m.

13**.Tulsa Talons (4-7): The Talons have a week to think about how close they were to upsetting the No. 3 Chicago Rush. Despite being in the top 5 in rushing defense, the Talons allowed a rushing touchdown as time expired. This week**: Bye

14**.Philadelphia Soul (4-7): Quarterback Ryan Vena threw for six touchdowns last week and the Soul controlled the game. This week’s contest against the Mustangs is crucial because the loser will be in a tough position to make the playoffs. This week**: Milwaukee Mustangs, June 3, 5:05 p.m.

15**.Iowa Barnstormers (3-7): Last week, the Barnstormers gave their new coach his first win by stifling the Blaze in the fourth quarter. They now take on Orlando, which has won three straight games. This week**: Orlando Predators, June 4, 6:05 p.m.

16**.Spokane Shock (4-7): The Shock played terribly last week, but were still in the game until a last-second field goal clinched the win for the Command. They now have some time to think about things before they host the Soul next week. This week:** Bye

17**.Milwaukee Mustangs (3-7): Milwaukee’s offense disappeared last week in suffering its fifth loss by nine points or less this year, but the Mustangs still nearly pulled off the upset. The Mustangs tout the No. 1 defense in the league going into Friday’s game. This week:** at Philadelphia Soul, June 3, 5:05 p.m.

18**.New Orleans VooDoo (2-9): This week looks like a recipe for disaster for the VooDoo: Primetime TV, an 0-6 record at home, and hosting league-leading Jacksonville, winners of nine straight.
