(KSL News) Police have recovered the getaway truck of three men who robbed a West Valley clothing store near 3500 South Redwood Road at gunpoint.
Sgt. Jeff Conger of the West Valley City Police Department says, "One of them had a handgun, another had some type of rifle. They demanded money, took money out of the tills and left the store in a stolen Chevy truck, which we have behind me right now."
Police say the men were masked at the time, but a witness saw them get out of the truck after the robbery, change clothes and leave in a car.
Police are investigating if these men were involved in two other armed robberies.
The first happened July 24 at a 7-11 at 500 North and 300 West. Then, three men took some beer and shot a clerk.
Just six days later, two men robbed a Salt Lake City Beto's Restaurant at 1800 South Redwood Road at gunpoint, then took off with a third man.
