TAYLORSVILLE -- An armed gunman got away with cash from a Dollar Tree store in Taylorsville Thursday night.

Police say the man, who was wearing a mask, entered the store at 5564 S. Redwood Road just after 10 p.m.

He demanded cash and showed a black semi-automatic handgun.

Employees complied, and the robber fled. No one was injured. A detailed description of the robber was not immediately available.
