(KSL News) Salt Lake City police arrested a man accused of breaking his 2-year-old son's leg.

Police say 23-year-old James Sado was left in charge of his two children at the Road Home shelter while his wife was hospitalized from an asthma attack.

Sado told police he couldn't take the crying any longer and shook the boy by the legs, breaking one of them.

Sado was booked into jail on investigation of child abuse. State child protective services was called to investigate.
