SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The Utah Division of Air Quality has issued a Red Air Quality alert for Salt Lake, Utah, Weber and Davis counties.
Cache County is under a yellow advisory.
The red alerts mean that air quality is poor and could be harmful for sensitive people, such as those with respiratory or heart disease, the elderly and children.
It's a good idea for those people to avoid prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.
