(KSL News) A man running across a road in Sugar House was hit by a car. This morning he's in serious condition.

Police say the man ran out of Sugarhouse Park and was almost across the street at 1300 East and 2200 South when a car driven by a young woman hit him.

Police tell us spinal cord fluid was leaking out of the man's ears and he has several broken bones.

They say the man was far from any crosswalks, and it appears he was at fault.
