WEST VALLEY CITY — The owners of a fast-food restaurant in West Valley City have a new drive-thru window, but not one they wanted.
Early Monday morning, an SUV crashed through the window of the Taco Bell restaurant at 3475 W. 3500 South. Police had been following the stolen car along 3500 South, at highway speeds, when it tried to make a hard left turn but lost control.
No one was injured in the crash, and police took the driver to jail.
Two juveniles who were riding in the car were taken to their parents. Police say each is a known gang member.
