(KSL News) A new poll shows Salt Lake City residents support the idea of building a skybridge downtown.

The exclusive Dan Jones Poll for KSL-TV and the Deseret Morning News shows 58 percent of people who live in Salt Lake City favor the bridge. Only 25 percent oppose it.

Support comes despite Mayor Rocky Anderson's claim the bridge will hurt the downtown area.

You can read more on this poll in the Deseret Morning News.
