(KSL News) A new study shows No Child Left Behind is causing schools to leave programs behind.

The Center on Education Policy reports since the law passed in 2001, two-thirds of schools are spending more time on math and reading and less on other subjects.

Nearly half of the districts surveyed have cut time from subjects not included in annual testing. Those include social studies, science, art and gym.
