(KSL News) It was one year ago today the body of Destiny Norton was found. Today, her family plans to celebrate her life with loved ones.

Rachael and Ricky Norton tell the Deseret Morning News they are still coping with Destiny's death.

Last year, police found the 5-year-old's body in her neighbor's home. 20-year-old Craig Gregerson was arrested and sentenced to life in prison for her death.

Since then, the family has moved from their home in Salt Lake City and plans to either buy the house they're renting now or move to Texas.

They say they plan to visit Destiny's grave and that even a year later they still find toys and flowers placed there by strangers.
