BENJAMIN -- A 4-year-old boy who was found floating face-down in Utah Lake has died.

The boy was fishing at Lincoln Beach on the southeastern side of the lake with his family Friday, but no one saw him go in the water. Once his family realized he was missing, they frantically began searching and made a horrifying discovery.

He was rushed to Primary Children's Medical Center in critical condition. Doctors removed the little boy from life support Saturday morning.

Authorities have not yet released the boy's name, nor have they said where he and his family are from.

The little boy was not wearing a life jacket.
