(KSL News) Dive teams scoured the Jordan River today, to look for a US marshal's stolen luggage.
The marshal was flying back to Oregon when his bags were mistakenly sent to Salt Lake. The bags were then stolen from a luggage carousel.
Based on a tip, authorities arrested a Utah man, who confessed he'd stolen the bags and thrown them into the Jordan River. He's now in jail.
The US Marshal's Office says it recovered most of the officer's belongings, but have yet to recover his badge.
