OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- Members of an Ogden neighborhood have become so rattled by recent grass fires in the area they're forming a fire watch group.

Officials say three grass fires in the area of Ninth Street and Maxfield Drive this month were started intentionally. One scorched 8 acres on July 11. Just hours after that another fire burned 10 acres six blocks to the north. A fire yesterday in the same place as the first blaze prompted the formation of the watch group.

Ogden Deputy Fire Chief Chad Tucker says he is grateful for any help residents can provide.
