(KSL News) A gun, knife and drug paraphernalia were all recovered from a car, following a police chase early this morning.
A highway patrol trooper tried to pull the car over for speeding near 4000 West and 4100 South, but the driver took off.
After a 20-minute chase, West Valley City Police spiked the tires.
Police believe the driver had been using drugs. He was arrested for speeding and fleeing from police. A woman passenger also was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
