(KSL News) Wildfires are causing big problems in surrounding states.
Right now, Idaho has more than 17 fires, and nearly 20 are burning in Nevada.
The biggest in Idaho is the Rowland fire near the city of Jackpot. It has burned 85,000 acres. Last night, it had burned 25,000 acres.
The Rowland fire is approaching another fire burning over the state line in Nevada, and it's creating dangerous conditions for people in the area.
Around 50 people were evacuated last night from the town of Jarbidge. No structures have been burned.
The Rowland fire was started by lightning, and it's only 2 percent contained.
