(KSL News) A legislative interim committee is drafting a bill that could lead to a nuclear power plant being built in Utah.
The Deseret Morning News reports the Public Utilities and Technology Interim Committee unanimously voted to move forward with the legislation.
Some lawmakers say its important for Utah to explore the possibility of nuclear power. Others say the risks outweigh the benefits.
