First Human Case of West Nile Virus Reported in Salt Lake County

(KSL News) Salt Lake County reported its first human case of the West Nile Virus this year.

The Health Department has not identified the person who is sick. The only information they revealed is that the patient is between 18 and 64.

The also say the person is sick with West Nile fever, a less severe form of the illness.
