(KSL News) -- A man charged with capital murder appeared in court today for a hearing.
Prosecutors say Floyd Eugene Maestas broke into Donna Bott's home, intending to burglarize the place in 2004. They say Maestas stabbed, strangled, and beat Bott to death.
The hearing will continue until next month. Maestas faces the death penalty if convicted.
