PARLEY'S CANYON -- A reckless driver along I-80 in Parley's Canyon caused major damage to another car Sunday night.

Troopers say someone was driving too fast and cut off the driver of another car. The driver lost control, swerved, and hit barriers on both sides of the highway. The car then came to rest partially on top of the barrier.

The driver of that car suffered only minor injuries. Troopers say the accident could have been avoided.

Authorities are asking anyone who was in the area of mile post 130 around 10 p.m. Sunday who saw the accident to call them so they can identify the reckless driver.
