(KSL News) A popular dog park will remain leash-free.
Late last night the Salt Lake City Council deemed Parley's Historic Nature Park an official off-leash area.
The park was made an off-leash area as an experiment last year. Some residents worried the hundreds of dogs were tearing up the park.
Dog owners say their pets love the park, and the natural area is better now.
