(KSL News) The state is taking action against a company exposed in a KSL Eyewitness News Investigation.

Last week, we talked to a Roy mother fed-up by the never-ending nominations for her son to be in the book, "Who's Who Among American High School Students." Problem is, her son is now a college sophomore.

That mistake makes her believe the book is bogus and that the money she spent when her son was in high school was a waste. She complained to the state.

Today, the Utah Department of Commerce cited Who's Who for deceptive sales practices. The Austin, Texas, company could be fined up to $5,000.
