SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The number of people seeking treatment for the flu in Utah is declining, although they remain above threshold levels for an active season.
Student absences also are above those threshold levels, according to the Utah Department of Public Health.
In late December, Utah led the nation as the state with the most widespread flu. Officials urged residents to get vaccinated, stay home when ill and cover a cough or sneeze. Officials say it is still not too late to get vaccinated. The flu season typically ends in March.
