(KSL News) LDS Hospital and the University of Utah hospitals and clinics are among the best in the nation.

U.S. News and World Report evaluated more than 5,400 hospitals in 16 different specialties. Three-quarters of the hospitals failed.

But LDS Hospital ranked 23rd in urology, 44th in kidney disease and 47th in endocrinology and diabetes care.

The University of Utah hospitals and clinics came in 18th in gynecology and 32nd in cancer treatment.
