(KSL News) A truck collided head on with a semi.

The Utah Highway Patrol says the driver of a pickup crossed the center line and struck the semi truck. The semi was pulling a tanker trailer and pup trailer on Highway 40 near the Currant Creek Reservoir.

The semi truck caught fire, but the driver was able to escape with only minor injuries. The driver of the pickup truck and his passenger received serious injuries. All three people were searing seat belts.

It took crews six hours to clear the wreckage.
