Utahns Continue to Contribute Heavily to Romney Campaign

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The most recent campaign finance reports are in and Utah remains a significant source for money for Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

Utah is second behind California in Romney's top donor states. Utahns donated $1.14 million to his campaign from April to June.

Employees of Utah-based nuclear services company Energy Solutions came in third behind Merrill Lynch and E-Trade Financial in donating to Romney.

Employees of Energy Solutions donated $36,400 to the Romney campaign according to Federal Election Commission reports.

Romney's campaign has received a total of more than $44 million so far in the campaign.
