(KSL News) A Salt Lake City man is an inspiration to his friends, after surviving a serious car accident that left him paralyzed. Luckily, he is now able to walk again.
Today DyLynn Barney was the recipient of the High 5.
Diana Richards nominated him. She said, "Here you are; you ran in the summer games, and you won three gold medals and one silver, and I think that's fabulous."
Barney said, "I'm not sure what kept me motivated, just life and living, and I'm grateful to be alive."
As a thank you, DeLynn received a gift bucket from ReAL Salt Lake.
