(KSL News) Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon might postpone a vote on a possible split of the Jordan and Granite School districts.
Corroon believes it's too soon to place the issue on the ballot. He says there are things the public needs to know before they vote, such as:
- Will there be enough money to build new schools?
- Will there be money for special education?
- Will smaller schools mean smaller class sizes? Corroon is looking at the possibility of using veto power to keep the issue off the ballot.
